hutch trick star decal sticker set is this a original or repo?

bought from guy that has this since 1987. so one guy came and told me "Not to bust your bubble. They are repops. OG headtube decal had fat stars. Repops had smaller. Sorry. Give u $25 for your repop."  since I am not a hutch expert so I would like to ask to confirm is its a real deal or repo?  if its repo I will go to bike shop owner and have him explain to me why he told me at first that he had it since 1987.

All the new ones are on one big sheet, not individually like the set you have. And they dont come in any plastic sleeve either. So I believe your set is a genuine OG one. smile

Re: hutch trick star decal sticker set is this a original or repo?

Those are not genuine Hutch stickers.  They look like old repro Hutch stickers packaged in a Stick Em Up looking bag.  Real Hutch head tube stickers (any model) had slightly more plump stars that almost hugged the top outline.  Also, real Hutch head tube stickers had more bold lettering below the stars "HI-PERFORMANCE BMX".  Notice how BMX letters are very close together.  Fakes are not worth the $100.00 you are asking for them on eBay.
