I really wanted to go to the show, but was at the MotoGP race in Indy. bmxbri, we should meet up sometime. I grew up in Pataskala, and used to race at Phase 4, and Dirt Works. I live off of Outville Rd now.

Was Dirt Works off of Broad Street? I was too little at that time, but I remember that track. That would have been around 80-81

Dirt Works/Broad Street before you got into Pataskala on the right hand side, seems like 1982 no as much action as Phase 4.

Wow! now that brings back alot of memories, thanks for shooting the pics.

They must have dozed the mid section sometime last year ago, because I was there a year ago and the track was still standing. Totally bummed out on this one.

ya man that sucks. it happens all to much. it really doesnt make much sense to bull doze it, when it aint being used anyways . dont people get it. tracks are cool

hey brian. i know in the above veiw of the track, the track looks like its farthur left of the buldings, but the starting ramp is close to the buildings. there isnt anymore than what u took pics of? like farther left ?

Kurt - minus me walk up what was the start gate and turn number 2 - that is it.

Yes, It was a track built by a group of us. It wasn't nearly as organised as Phase 4, but BMX hadn't really caught on around here that early on. We just wanted a local place to race since we weren't old enough to drive yet. Phase 4 was a really nice track I thought.
