New Englanders itching to ride?

Spring is here, and doing laps in my driveway isn't cutting it. I suggest we do a ride! Call it the "Goodbye Winter" ride, "Spring Ride", or heck, call it "GEORGE" for all I care. Is there anything up-coming?

Mike

I'm in! Its tough in the spring here because we never know if we're getting snow or 70 degrees and sunny. That could happen all in the same day here. lollollol

I haven't been there but the website looks cool and my son's friends go there all the time. They love it but say it gets too crowded. I'd be down for something like that. There is a place close to me that is much smaller but I bet it wouldn't cost much to rent out.

Re: New Englanders itching to ride?

I'm down for anything. A central location is key. Not too far from Maine, not too far from RI and CT. I finally have a couple of bikes to ride, and I'm itchin'. Even if it's not a structured ride. Several riders just getting together would be cool. I live on the Merrimack River, and there is a boulevard/boardwalk type deal with a pavilion. We should take it over. lol

My wife and I took the bikes up to the Stadium last week, when the weather was nice, for a spin. It smelled like dog sh*t yikes

Re: New Englanders itching to ride?

O.K. A bunch of good ideas here. Hampton, the Cape, Frozen Waves, that airfield in Maine, wherever. lol
Even Boston. I used to ride my motorcycle in downtown on Sunday mornings- real early. Anyone up for a morning ride in Boston? Anything...

Re: New Englanders itching to ride?

I live right near the electric blue but no really good places to hangout and cruise.  I have a huge warehouse in east hartford that i run an indoor paintball field out of that gots a huge parking lot but its gravely.  there are some nice abandoned warehouse parking lots that are paved over and have some basic freestyle areas like curbs and stuff but I can only control my parking lot.  as for riding in the area as a group i wouldnt go beyond the industrial park it sits in.

Re: New Englanders itching to ride?

I took my rider out today for the first time, I've been working on it for months. Other projects, holidays, surgery, etc. got in the way. It sucks that we're getting snow tomorrow. I want to get out there again.

'86 RL20.......the complete opposite of Topher's (and my Cali Red RL20-II). Its a beater for sure.

Re: New Englanders itching to ride?

I'll be in Westerly,  RI for a week.   I have a bike there.  Me and wife plan to do a bunch of cruiseing.  I'd be into checking out whatever you dudes have to offer.  Looks like the weather may be nice (relatively speaking) too.   I'll watch this post to see if yous guys put something together.

Thanks! I love the RL20s. Same as the RL20-IIs (minus the twin top tube) but half the price, lol
