2011 Solid Bikes
2011 Solid Bikes
Custom built Solid Bikes frame sitting on my rider parts.
I custom ordered this Solid Bikes frame a few months ago, I ride the crap out of it so yes, it's banged up.
Okay, started with King Cobra tubing and stand over height, went with a traditional seat post tube (no integrated clamp BS) had dual cable stops mounted on the top tube for my lower cables, gyro tabs, and seat stay brake mounts, painted translucent black, and here's the geometry:
HT: 74.5°
ST: 70°
Dropouts: 14mm
BB: Mid
BB Height: 11.625
Rear End: 13.25 Slammed
Top Tube: 21

Thanks, man.
I need to update pics soon, I just replaced the rear tire w/ a Maxxis Grifter Kevlar bead... dropped 2/3 of a lb... I've been crashing and burning all week from it, it's sooooo stinking light it's ridiculous!

Re: 2011 Solid Bikes
Got her weighed proper today... first time after getting the Kevlar tires on her... 22.7 lbs
I love it when I tell people to pick it up and they start freaking out about why it's so light as a full rig!

Perfectly, I've been putting it through the wringer since I moved to So-Cal, I get a ton of comments on it too, a lot of the local riders have been hitting up Solid to get them a custom build too, guys who have a hard time finding a frame that fits their needs.
