1982 Torker Eddie Fiola

The Torker frame was soon modified shortly after this to become the HARO Freestyler made by Torker

Eddie Fiola was sponsored by Bob Haro and the Torker low profile frame was a popular frame to use for flatland and ramp riding.  This was an incredible day at the Skate City bowls as Eddie debuted the opposite one hander one footer and lookback one hander aerials!
The winning bike looking simple featured some rare components:
* Bottema Skate park reinforced forks
* Redline non-pinch flight cranks
* Skyway Graphite Tuff II's with Campagnolo first generation hubs
* Mitsuboshi Competition III Yellow label tires
* MAX seat cover
* Bob Hadley sealed bottom bracket in Gold
Eddie left HARO soon after this to start MORALES/FIOLA (MF) and the Torker was redesigned into the HARO Freestyler late 1982.

Re: 1982 Torker Eddie Fiola

It was such a blast to surprise Eddie with the bike in California.  I think that is the last time we ship seven bikes, unbox, setup for three hours, tear the bikes down, then box them up again...but it was worth having the Torker riders and Johnson's enjoy all the bikes!

This is one rad replica!  The issue with the cover image of Eddie doing the opposite one-hander, one-footer was one of my first BMXA magazines ever - so classic!  Awesome job!!

Re: 1982 Torker Eddie Fiola

Wow another awesome Torker build and exact according to Eddie Fiola too cool!  Eddie was such a great Freestyler and remember being so blown away by this cover.  Great to see a build of his before his famous GT days.

‎"First of all Rat, you never let on how much you like a girl. "Oh, Debbie. Hi." Two, you always call the shots. "Kiss me. You won't regret it." Now three, act like wherever you are, that's the place to be. "Isn't this great?" Four, when ordering food, you find out what she wants, then order for the both of you. It's a classy move. "Now, the lady will have the linguini and white clam sauce, and a Coke with no ice." And five, now this is the most important, Rat. When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV."
