1985 Ross Piranha

Not as good as if it was made 2 years before Ross made the stupid decision of shipping parts across seas to try and beat huffy and schwinn.


I found this bike at this house that had been recently moved out of. These guys were emptying out the house and they brought this bike out and I saw it, and instantly wanted it. It had no crank, but that is easily replaceable. I took it home, and saw it needed some work, was kinda ticked when i saw that the original chromoly drainpipe seat post was painted over... I still need to strip the paint, which is work in progress. I took everything off of it, and cleaned it. I polished it, used some steel wool (not the scouring pads!) and it's got one helluva shine. Just need to polish the swirls out of the frame, fork, and bars. Everything on this bike is stock, except for the tires, chain, the crank, the seat post. (i have the stock one still, just needed to put a shorter post on it so i could shred at the skate park) and the brake line for the rear brake. This bike rides beautifully, it's probably the best bike I have ever had! I get a lot of oooo's and ahhh's as I ride it around town. I'm trying to get this bike back in racing like it was intended to be. However I'm still trying to find appropriate sized handle bars, replace the stem (its kinda in its retirement stage), and a new crank set.
