1986 Phase 2
1986 Phase 2
My 20" Phase 2. Don't see many of these around. Suprisingly smooth riding bike. Probably the nicest riding bike I have.
Here is my 86 Phase 2. Don't see many of these around in this size.
This is a really nice riding bike. Here's the parts breakdown:
-- Phase 2 Frame & Fork (all OG decals on both)
-- Mongoose Pro Class rims.
-- Cheng Shin tires
-- Red DK stem
-- Tange Headset
-- Maxy Crosscrankset
-- Pete's Precision Products Chainring
-- KKT Lightning pedals
-- kmc chain
-- Tuff neckseat clamp
-- Black UNI seat (OG decal)
-- GT expert Handlebars (Santa Ana decal)
-- Black and red ODI Mushroom grips (don't see this color combo often)
-- Dia Compe MX 1000 brakes
-- Red dice caps
That's about it. I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out.
Nice riding bike suprisingly. Thanks for looking, give it some love! Tim

Re: 1986 Phase 2
That's a tasty build! I've never seen one before, either. Do you have any background on where they were made?

Re: 1986 Phase 2
This is the only info I have on it:
Phase II was a company started by a guy named Ernie Smith He was the father of a kid who was 5 or 6 and raced minis. Their home track was Peachtree City Ga and they raced NBL. His bikes looked like SRP's because he bought out SRP [STAYLEY RACE PRODUCTS]and changed the name.
