Seems so. Don't know why. I've got a red '88 in my "bikes", though.

Re: 88 redlines
I put in a WTB ad a little while back for an '88 800pxl thinking it was a long-shot. Someone stepped up with a survivor frame like a day later, couldn't believe it. I probably paid double but whatever, I was psyched. Still need to find forks and to build it up though. I'll post a pic of the frame when I get home from work.

Re: 88 redlines
I am really mostly into bmx bikes from the late 70s up to 1985 (personal nostalgic preference) but I certainly couldnt pass this up when I found it locally (same with an 88 Haro Invert that Ive got)
"My Bikes" are mostly still in the project phase. I will update and add photos as the builds progress. Thanks.

Re: 88 redlines
You wrote, 88+ Redlines, so here's my '90 1000 (formerly RL-20B). BY FAR, my most comfortable rider. Since this pic, I've swapped out the seat and seatpost (layback for even MORE room from the 20.5" top tube!). Here it is in My Bikes:
http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/redline/34628

Here's a catalog shot from 89 I believe. Not a whole lot of innovation going on at Redline at the time.
I NEED: 24" Blue UKAI Speedline hoop or wheel--single or pair
I NEED: White Vinyl REDLINE Top Tube Pad--old, snap style in very good condition
I FOUND: REDLINE decaled/painted ELINA seat--blue or black **THANKS MUSEUM!**

Re: 88 redlines
Here is my wife on her '90 700. She saw Rad, and said she wanted to try that, but I only had race frames. She hasn't got the bar spin down yet.
I'd trade it for a RL20 ![]()

Re: 88 redlines
Just my kind of Thread!
Here are some of mine.....

This is CRAZY bike.....below... ![]()

Here is a custom Futuristic (like Hutch) 88 RL-20II
I made this none for a guy named Jeff, back in 2005. This is before the Hazard Yellow color code was found ![]()

I restore this chrome 88 a while back too...

This 700SL was built with NOS parts, and the frame set was also NOS too...
My survivor 88 mange RL-20II - my wife is the only one that ever rode it. I never end did. I might not even have ever sat on it ![]()

Restored this for Jay Huber in 2008...........88 done with 86 decals......as he wanted...
That is all I can post for now.... ![]()

The bikes are pushing out of our house! Ask my wife! Mainly all in one spare bedroom, is where they are at.
