2003 Schwinn Z-Force

A Really good bike

Well i got the bike for my birthday in 2005 and i still have the original stuff that came on the bike.My cousin Devin said the bike has good gears in it;he noes what hes talking about because he can tare a bike apart in like 30 minutes and the put it back together.But anywyas ive had the bike for a long tima and i wanna get rid of cause i got a new bike the summer but anyways P-E-A-C-E

You need to edit your specs, bike 1020 hi tensile steel (no chromoly tubing) and has a 1 1/8" threadless headset (you have 1" listed). Was a mass market model not sold at bike shops.

Hey, it is a museum and bikes should be listed appropriately. I fully realized my comment may sound harsh, but the facts are what matter here and should be listed.

Say someone finds one of these on eBay, researches it here and sees that it's listed as a full chromoly frame. Bids up the same one on eBay to a ridiculous amount, wins the auction and later on finds out that the bike isn't as the seller had listed it and he paid 3x the price the bike cost when new. What then?

I gotta agree with Helmutt on this. It is a museum, therefore attention does need to be in the details.

You no what hellmutt i got that bike from a bike shop--so stay out of my buisness man--i got my bike from a bike shop not the walmart place--i paid 160 for that bike--dont talk rajulio hector de la hondo aabout my stuff

You're going to be off site very soon with language like that. This isn't the first time either...

I could care less where you purchased it from, facts are facts. The fact that you bought it from a bike shop doesn't mean that it was a bike ONLY sold through bike shops, which this was NOT.

If you even bothered to take a second to search for this bike, you'd find that a member here has it listed as a mass market sold Schwinn with pictures as well from the manufacturer (no point in me arguing this anyway due to it's year and the actual owners of the Schwinn name at that time).

They were around $100 and under at wallyworld, all you did was overpay. One of the local shop owners here actually buys some of the wallyworld bikes when on sale, than resells them at his shop. Fortunately for him, uninformed people will still buy the bikes for full price or even over regular price, not unlike what you've done.
