my first bmx was a royce union, and I seem to recall some shock system, but details are hazy.  what I do recall is I broke a crankshaft (forgot my terms), and we had to special order a new one b/c it was some odd british size.

When you compute the length of time between the "EVENT" and "THE NOSTALGIA FOR THE EVENT", the span seems to be about a year less in every cycle.
