Thanks guys; Gary- on the decals, they will be the same font, style, and color, however they will say S&M Racing instead of Cook Bros Racing. And thanks Stoner- I know you've been working on yours too; cant wait to see it.

Are the brakes setup yet, or do they stick out that far?

looking for first gen bullseye pedals, reissued OK, or Bob Reedy 2007 reissued pedals by helix.

Its funny how many people noticed that; yep, flipped the washers on the pads and they are properly dialed in.

Re: 2009 S&M 38 Special 24

Well.....after months of playing around with this bike, I finally landed on how I wanted it it to look. I decided to pay homage to the Widowmaker I sold back in the late 90's, so I built what I call a "Widowmaker II."  Sure, if I was patient I could buy another original Widowmaker, but since I only build riders I wanted a frame with the latest technology. Now I have the best of both worlds; looks similar to my old bike, and rides like a well built new bike should. Enjoy.

Re: 2009 S&M 38 Special 24

I was wrong when I said that this bike was bada$$ and perfect, Its now at a whole new level. This bike is bar none one of the finest machines I have ever seen. You could not have done a single thing better. This needs to be reposted in the Catchall.......bikes like this inspire others and give them a direction for future builds. Well done sir, you hit it dead center. Wish I could fave it twice:)

Re: 2009 S&M 38 Special 24

Thanks Stoner; you build some amazing bikes as well. As soon as I get the brakes on, I'll take some new pics, and then throw it up on the S&M thread.
