How To Post Pictures On The Forums
I thought I would pass on what I was told and now use. An easy way to post pictures on the forums pages is to set up an account with photobucket.com (free membership!)
go to; www.photobucket.com
set up a free account
upload photos from your saved files on your computer
under the newly loaded photo it will have three addresses listed (url, tag, and img)
highlight and copy the img address
paste that address on the forum message you are writing in the message section and thats it!
let me know if you have any questions. its as easy as that and then your photo will appear like this;
Good luck!
its-all-good
Photobucket new has apps for iphones, Android, BlackBerry, and other phones. You can get them here
http://photobucket.com/mobile/apps/iphone/#iphone
Need more help ? "Added info by Spartacus"

Highlight and copy the IMG code address

Paste it in your post and your pic will be online.
ATTENTION: Deleted & moved files in photobucket will cause your direct links to break.

Do we have to use photobucket? I already have photos on a biking website here in New Zealand so can I use that link?

Also, I'd like to add. Photobucket will tell you that your picture has been copied, then you can move it to your thread. I don't know if this has ben talked about or not. Just learned myself, hope this helps.

so...if you use photobucket.com - size your photos to 7-9" wide @ 72 dpi and save them in a new folder on your computer. sure saves time if not huge pic on both ends. when photobucket says: get photos from where? you go to that folder and upload them
this pic is 7.8" W x 5.6 H (561 x 403 pixels) at 72 dpi - for an example. this screenshot is what you would see after pics are uploaded to photobucket, your thumbnails, ready to copy/paste the code. there are 4 yellow rows under your pic. copy the last line IMG code and paste it in your post. just thinking it might help somebody
pics are good!

Re: How To Post Pictures On The Forums
I'll test Picasa (google's free photo web album)

I haven't had a BMX bike in over 20 years. I felt the call and bought this 2009 SE Racing Ripper. I got it like new for $200. The previous owner bought it new and brought it back a month later. I'm not sure why he took off the 'Ripper' decals. I'm going to try and find some to put back on it. I have not done a thing to it yet. Ordered a lay-back seat post and shim for more leg room. Hope to have those in a week or so.
Ah, reliving my childhood is fun ![]()

Re: How To Post Pictures On The Forums
by the way, if you have a Gmail account, you already have a Picasa account. Login to your Gmail account and click on the Photos tab at the top. That is Picasa. It allows 1024 MB of free storage for photos.

how do you get the picture larger when you post it.On my post my picture is small and you have to go to photobucket to look at it larger. When I try to make the picture larger on photobucket I was playing with the picture sizes now it is stuck on the smallest setting and it would let me set it back to larger picture on photbucket ?????

Why not just add a browser button, such as CL to upload from computer ?

because then the museum would be hosting every picture that gets posted, and that would eat up their bandwidth or whatever.
