1978 Team Jag
1978 Team Jag
My Old Ride.
I have owned this Bike since 1981 and I recently picked it up from my parents house after about 28 years of not riding it.
As a young kid I always wanted to have it re-nickeled and apply new decals, so all these years later I finally had it done.
I originally had the bike with the Red Tuff's and the colours were a bit mismatched. I have updated some of the parts so it looks a bit closer to the how the original bikes were built and how I would have wanted it to look as a young fella.

Aren't you glad you kept it? There are many of us who wish we still had ours...

Yes, my Mum had told me she was thinking of ringing a guy,who advertised in her local paper, that said he was a collector of old BMX bikes and was paying cash for old bikes.
Thank God she didn't.

Re: 1978 Team Jag
Sweet keeper bud, be grateful your mom called you 1st!
Welcome to the BMXmuseum and what you do with your Jag is up to you?
Some of us leave them as is, up grade them or restore to factory specs.
You can see my '79 jag and others that are here in the museum.
I suggest you leave it "as is" and clean it up, but it's your bike?
I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets preferred).
Thanks
I'm also johnng23604 at "Retro-goose", "VintageBMX" & "RADbmx"
