Nice bike, I had one BITD same color combo.
mine started cracking near the seat mast, so i took it to my high school machine shop and welded it my self through the inside so you wouldnt see the weld marks, it took me a long time to get the seat post to fit in again after grinding the weld down.  well i left it alone after i fixed it and after high school it was the usual for any kid,  cars and chicks and i forgot all about it. went back to my parents a few years ago and guess what,... MOM threw the frame and fork in the garbage. (damn that!)
to make a long story short, I have every thing less the frame and fork. sucks!!!!!!!! it was my lightest freestyler.

you have a nice bike there!!

hey thanks ajey! This frame is very light. i heard other stories of this frame breaking easily. Great story too but what are moms for right?

they are sweet looking bikes, although looking at the thickness of the tubing and welds,i am scared to ride it!!

Re: 1987 Skyway StreetStyler

A friend of mine who is 250+lbs broke his frame at the dropouts on a landing. He says both broke, prob full of it but has the scars to prove it. This frame is getting more rare to find. funny how their tuffs could take just about anything... but this frame is in really good shape. Ill try not to ride it... too much anyway. lol

Nice Ride.

I just finished my restoration of the same exact bike...  which I will post next week.  I'm still looking for the correct decals though... haven't had much luck.  I found a Lavender seat on ebay perfect condition... came out of Australia... look for my post.  Good luck finishing it out!

Where did you find the correct decals?   I have been looking for a while... nothing that is the correct size/color yet....
Nice bikes though...  Good luck on your Redline... my Redline is still my favorite ride by far....
