1983 Raleigh Pro Burner MK1
1983 Raleigh Pro Burner MK1
Raleighs flagship model the RARE R GUSSET MK1 Pro
This is my MK1 Pro . Was a total labour of love and took over a year to collect the parts to get it to its former glory . It was a total rusty wreck when i got it and missing almost everything . When i started it there were only about 30 known of in existance now the number is up to the 40's . They were Raleighs Pro model and japanese made by Koisumi but they were light and had a bad habit of breaking at the gusset which is probably why so many were thrown in skips over the years . Anyhow since restoring this one it has won

If you want a little inspiration you should have a look at the red & gold 'Hong Kong' MK1 Pro's. Check these bad boys out! ! !

Re: 1983 Raleigh Pro Burner MK1
Kia-ora thanks.
them rides are bad.
cant wait to start rebuilding. im in the hunt for a new crank, levers , grips and hubs. any help would be awesome. i have a cousin in the uk and will help with the shipping. where do i find all the goodness? will keep you updated with pics from the grave to the living room.
my ride is chrome with the blue neck, clamp and rims. cant wait to start. thinking just blue now but blue gold could be sick.
i now cant stay out of the shed.
rad regards
Boof.
