I think so! I never made the connection of it actually being the Holiday weekend until you pointed it out! Yes it is going to be a busy son of a gun down there, plenty of activity and people watching to be had! I will be arriving very early to avoid the traffic nightmare on I-45

Im cleaning all of the haybale crumbs, cactus chunks and mud clumps out of my truck! Which means Im heading for the big city and then to the coast! Less than a week fellas! Saturday AM Two of us are rolling South from H-Town!

Well my nephew Hunter and I had a blast while hanging with tour guides Waterslider Paul and his boy the Wildman Mackenzie!

The boys working on the waitress! That rootbeer can rally up the courage!

Hanging at the Firehouse, Paul knew all of the same local head surfboard makers as the Fire Chief, I scored a good education on the local surfboard maker ins ands outs! By the way Paul has surfed many crazy places where people still eat insects for dinner!

Well Hunter did all of the good at the end of the ride!

There is always some idiot that has to go flying off of the edge of the seawall........Saturday it was me! "

should have went, but my friend show up with his brand new jet ski had to stay and ride hell of it we have a blast time.

Yeah guys it was a real good time! I know it is tough to get loose for rides having obligations family events, injuries and the list goes on! On the bright side there is always another ride coming up somewhere and you can just hit it when you can! FYI In the Texas BMX Roundup thread I see some early talk about a fall Austin ride!

It's on again boys and girls, Sat Aug 11, I have another map with stops for lunch, Skatepark and the Brickhouse for cold ones!
FYI Sat May 26 I will be there early for a recon mission and to beat the incoming Holiday weekend mob scene. Shoot me a message if you want to meet up!

Too bad for me, I won't be in lufkin anymore. Move to weatherford by may 29 and not only that I have been avoid going down there during holiday weekend like memorial, July 4th and labor weekend it's crazy traffic.

Yeah i avoid places like that on holidays as well but I have to be there anyway for other reasons so i may as well enjoy Sat by getting there early! Just more (o)(o) to look at!
