1985 Skyway Street Beat

1985 Skyway Street Beat.Green and Pink Combo. NOS frame, forks, bars, Tuffs, well I guess everything on the bike is NOS with the exception of the KKT pedals I brought back to life and the DK inverted stem which has a mirror finish. I added Skyway pegs on the front and frame steppers on the rear, Lee Chi front and rear brakes, pink frame, bar and stem pads, green Skyway brake pads F/R, green & black Hutch Trick Top seat. I also added the GT frame grabber and Oury grips. Not too bad. Thanks again to costzoomeer for the NOS forks.

Re: 1985 Skyway Street Beat

Don't know if I like the pink with the green (personal choice).  But it is a very clean build.  Nice Skyway. smile

Sweet ride, i like what you did with this one. The neck part could use a pink skyway decal tho. I have a streetstyler pending aprov please check it out.

Re: 1985 Skyway Street Beat

I bought this build when it was about half finished. They started out with the pink and green, so I just continued with the colors they were working with. They had an array of parts, from NOS Skyway to 2007 brakes, forks and bars, etc. I just took it back to 1985. I do need a head tube badge in pink, if anyone has one let me know.

Re: 1985 Skyway Street Beat

Ordinarily, I'd be recoiling in disgust at this color combo, but strangely enough, I think it works on this bike.  Nice job.

I think this color combo is wild!  It works very well on this.  It reminds me of the Joker or Green Goblin or something!!!
