1985 Dyno Compe

THIS BIKE STARTED AS THE PROJECT 85 DYNO COMPE BEFORE FLORIDA SPRING FLING, THAT I ABOUT KILLED MY SELF TO GET DONE IN TIME.

Well this bike started from a frame up restore project. It took six months, and alot of cash. During the build I ran a thread in the catch all the fun forum the thread was the project 85 Dyno Compe before FL, Spring Fling. I thanked alot of people for giving me any parts or  help. The bike is done and the night before the fling i stayed up 24hrs to finish. I would say the one thing i put on the bike that shouldnt have had any place on it was the ACS rotor, but the build was for me so i put it on. At the fling I was happy to see people take a interest in the build. and some photos as well. When i was runing the thread it had like a thousand views. It would be kinda cool if i got that many favorite clicks. LOL I dont see that happening.  I had a great time on this build until the last week before the 2011 Florida spring fling.
I would like to just give a huge thanks to anybody who took  intrest in my build or helped.
This Dyno is just a painting that will soon be hanging in my game room. It wasent built for me to ride just admire, well hell I took it for a spin or two already, and might ride it again. Only when ever there's a bmx get together.

Man, that looks fantastic. +1 fave smile
I got one of the the purple f/f sets from Rockville BMX bitd when these first came out. That last pic choked me up a bit.
But... that blue is sick. cool

Thanks alot    I just was never a fan of that purple. If could have found a blue or green in that good of shape i would stuck with it ,but the dropouts and welds on this made it way to good to pass on.

Re: 1985 Dyno Compe

Iam very stoked that i scored a set of CST tires and the Dyno Flip trix fork standers, plus the D-2 pad set.  Iam one more bike part away from being a 100% finished and if any body has a Dyno D-2 Brake Guard Cover in blue & white, please drop me a pm. big_smile

Re: 1985 Dyno Compe

Times have gotten so tough that this is gona be the only bike i keep out of my whole collection.
Ive been trying to let my whole collection go in the local area, along with all my powder coating setup.
This is my True Favorite
