1984 Mongoose Californian
1984 Mongoose Californian
`84 Californian
This is the bike I wanted as a child. Never got my hands on it. When I finished this bike I took a step back and instantly grinned from ear to ear.
I did a lot of hand work on this bike- Polished the stem cap and hubs, had the hoops reanodized, restickered, hand painted the BMX on the seat. I was originally going to ride this bike, but I think this may end up being a shelf queen.
Pro Class 24/ 83 Supergoose III/ 84 Californian / 83 Minigoose / 95 Expert Comp / 87 Performer x's two/ 89 Jr Performer/ 87 PFT
If I owe you feedback.. please don't hesitate to tell me
It's fun to see the same clapped out 20$ part posted at the same price, for the 30th time. At what point will you just give it to someone who might use it?
Truly- you have a dizzying intelect

Looks fantastic! I've always had a soft spot for the Californians!
Saw this on the front page of the museum today.

That's beautiful.
I understand about being a carpet queen, but this one needs to have some riding time once in a while.
Would you look at this doughnut?

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets preferred).
Thanks
I'm also johnng23604 at "Retro-goose", "VintageBMX" & "RADbmx"
