1966 Schwinn Stingray

/ Rick's Bike Shop Factory Team

66 frame done up in the early 70's BX style! Frame was an OG blue but had way too much rust so I bombed it with a glow-in-the - dark safety yellow!

Non chopped and stroked frame with Redline forks.Aftermarket seatbrace and double neck stem. Blue sparkle bannana seat and Redline diamond style one piece cranks with a Schwinn steel mag sprocket.Motomags with Chengs and box bars with Hunt-Wilde grips. The frame sports the colors of the legendary, infamous and greatest BMX team of all time! Rick's Bike Shop ruled the BX in the 70's!

Re: 1966 Schwinn Stingray

I remember building a jump in the empty lot at the end of my street, and then jumping my friends schwinn. That was just yesterday wasn't it?

I don't have A.D.D., it's just.... oh look, a chicken.

Re: 1966 Schwinn Stingray

Nice replica bike, brings back lots of memories of bitd. I can see all of the RBS boys tearing up the tracks (and sometimes other riders) on the original Rick's Bike Shop bikes. Good job, Greg!!big_smile

Re: 1966 Schwinn Stingray

nice, my friend has a late 60's ross baracuda that has the same frame design, and that thing is all original except for the tires.
