1994 CardboardLords Liberator Jr

Not too many of these showing up.  Who has more info?

Scored this from our LBS race sponsor.  My son will rock this one in 2011.  Super light monocoque.  Produced in Oklahoma City, OK.  Euro BB.  Bass boat metal flake paint.  Has Answer carbon forks, and a 1" threadless Chris King headset.  Tangent stem. Set up for canti or V-brakes. This is an original paint and sticker complete frame set.  Just starting the build.

That's a very nice bike there, it doesn't look like it's set up for canti brakes to me? Unless i can't see the cable guide. smile

Thermal count is rising, In perpetual writhing. The primordial ooze, And the sanity they lose. Awakened in the morning, To more air pollution warnings. Still we sleepwalk off to work, While our nervous systems jerk. Pretending not to notice, How history had forebode us. With the green house in effect, Our environment was wrecked. Now, I can only laugh, As I read our epitaph. We end our lives as moles, In the dark of DAWN PATROL

They are V-brake mounts but cantilever brakes can be used on them. But usually for bikes that are made for cantilever brakes there is a cable guide

Re: 1994 CardboardLords Liberator Jr

There's a spot for a cable guide.  What year did v-brakes come out?  I'm curious, as the only other Liberator I've ever seen in person had canti brakes, as well as the purple Liberator in the museum.

Re: 1994 CardboardLords Liberator Jr

I remember when XTR made U-brakes. Been trying to find a set of them for a while now.
