1981 Open Road

Saved! Not Open Garbage anymore.

This Roadside trash was saved and sat for about 6 months till I restored it. It was painted black on mustard yellow. The black was scratched and trashed so I stripped all the paint and found a bright yellow stage 1 and hooked it up. Only things I changed were new VP-361 pedals, green seat post clamp and a new rear mount kick stand. Front hub is StampedMade in U.S.A.  78, rims dated 1980, the tires are Raleigh Nylons, Troxel seat with the eagle crest on both sides (date on sticker is faded). Pretty much what you're seeing is what was on it. I don't think the pads date back that far but they helped me pick out the yellow.
