Re: 1985 ELF Mini
Nice job. Did you build this mini for a young kid? I ask because I am building a mini for my nephew. He is a little too young to ride it right now, but I want to choose a crank size that is not too big. I noticed you are using 165 mm. Also, I want to use as many old school or retro parts as possible, but I might go new school cranks just to keep the cost down.

Re: 1985 ELF Mini
thanks for the complement .Yes, I did build this bike for my 7yr old son and he totally loves it. The only reason I choose 165mm was the ideal length, since my son was tall. Believe me, I wanted to build this as old school as I can but budget forbids me to over indulge. This bike looks cool though.
