Re: 2007 FMF Carbon Crusier

Very nice bike. Do you have a weight on it? That's a 24" cruiser and not a junior cruiser... correct?

Yeah bishes..... You can touch my carbon fiber!

Re: 2007 FMF Carbon Crusier

I don't even wanna know how much you have into that bike. I think my FMF24 (above) was mere 250.00.  I bet your frame cost twice that. LOL!!!

Awesome bike.  Is that a 22" TT?

Re: 2007 FMF Carbon Crusier

Yep, 22" top tube, with the carbon cranks and wheelset, it cost me around $2000 CND. The frame alone was $500. I was looking at the 5 tube carbon, but they wanted $800. Too rich for me. Ive been racing this bike since Sept, and love it.

Re: 2007 FMF Carbon Crusier

I weigh in at 200 LBS. I was surprised how stiff they actually are. I ordered the ones with the isis bb, dont feel confortable with the square taper. Still waiting for my carbon cranks and wheels, were suppose be here Nov 22. Since the pics, i've put a set of Truvativ cranks on, just in case.

I love it. I paid $850 here in Canada for the F/F. Just saw 1 end on ebay, that nobody put an offer on for $300. I was so close to buying me a second one.

Re: 2007 FMF Carbon Crusier

I got them thru my local shop. They are only 24 hole, so they only sell them as completes. You can order them straight from fmfbmx.com. They come complete with a set of cassette cogs too. They r aluminum with a carbon wrap. I was not that impressed with thm. thought they would be lighter, but they are sick, look strong as hell. Nice and smooth, and stay true!!! All the stickers peel off, so you could have a nice carbon look without all the fmf flash.

Re: 2007 FMF Carbon Crusier

Damn dude...carbon cranks at 200 lbs? You're a brave dude. Hope they don't snap on ya! smile

The bike is gorgeous. I only paid $2500 on a bike once...my first MTB race bike (XC). It was a Manitou HT frame, aluminum, 3.0 lbs. Complete 24-speed 26" MTB was 21 lbs!

Re: 2007 FMF Carbon Crusier

Ya everyone freaks about the carbon stuff. Other than the frame and fork, which use straight carbon, evrything else is aluminum and then wrapped in carbon for strenght and 0 flex. So crank wise, stronger than any other aluminum crank out there. Still use a cro mo BB, so no worries there.

Re: 2007 FMF Carbon Crusier

The angles are a little steeper. Its great on rollin tracks, a little squirly in the air. I use the SX for the jumping tracks. Alittle heavier and easier to control in the air.
