HARO GUYS PLEASE READ

If you dont already know, i have a database called the Haro registry which currently databases all of the early Haro Freestylers, Masters and Sports that were produced by Torker in the U.S. for Haro Designs in the period June 1982 to late 1984.

During 1984 Torker relinqueshed production and Anlun in China produced the later 84 Complete bikes and onwards for years after.

Im looking to start databasing the Taiwanese Haro Sports, Masters and Fst's From late 1984 so if you have one, please let me know.

Some basic ways of identifying them...

All had a three stripe frame decal (two strip began in early 1985)

All have serials stamped underneath the Bottom bracket shell starting "84 (year) two dogits from the month and then the remainder of the code is the production sequence number. EXAMPLE 84102717 , This would be a tai made 84 bike produced in October 1984.

All have Haro "chevrons" stamped in the gusset area

Its late here guys so anybody who thinks i have missed anything obvious please jump in and post it.

The Haro registry is a great way of working out the timescales and history of Haro so please help in any way you can.

What about 1984's without the Chevron and no serial number its there a count on how many are around?

Pic from september here. After a quick cleanup. It now has a blue '85 GT seat, Skyway pegs, and f/r brakes

Ok, I dont know if this helps... I had an 84 Master, I restored it then sold it about 3 years ago here in the UK.
This pic is pretty poor but I think its: 84088467 Not much help I know but hopefully its some use to you.

Heres how it looked, it was lovely, I was gutted I had to sell it
It was originaly chrome by the way.

Did they all have serial #'s ? I just bought a 84 Sport F&F but can't find a serial # on it.

Serial # 840886496 belongs to me. Chrome 1984 that I received in Sept. of that year.

What generation is the rarest? I know the I and II are the most desirable but is the III pretty rare?
