1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team

I started of trying to build a stock Team Model, then changed my mind and tried to do an exact copy of the last bike i had as a kid. It ended up being neither as I could not track down any NOS Super Pros. Everything was NOS except the Frame Forks and Cranks. Spec. 87 GT Freestyle F&F Dyno Bars (I had black ones as a kid but they looked odd) Gt Power series Crank (About 10 hours an arm to put the smooth satin finish back in) Tuf Neck Power disc Tuf Neck Chain ring Araya 48's with GT hubs Tioga Pool Tyres Izumi White Chain Dia Compe Polished AD990 Rear and Nippon Front Peregrine seat clamp GT mallet stem Tange Green headset 88 GT Seat (I have an 87 but its not as claen) Gyro ACS locking Levers Ame tris

Nope... Green was a 85-86 color and was pretty rare even then...

Sorry dude, been a while since I have been on here.

Not sure where Rividude has got his info from. In 1987 I purchased a PFT Team in green.
It was new in the box and had white GT mags which soon got replaced with Super Pros, I started trying to build this as a copy but gave up my search for NOS Super Pro's and put Arayas on it.

When I fisrt started trying to build this bike I also saw a Green NOS 87 PFT frame and forks in the original box on ebay. I mailed the guy who helped me get as close to the colour as I could when I repowdered mine.

I would just need to see one bro... They never came in green... Post up a Survivor and I will believe you... Earlier 85 or 86 came in green I am pretty sure... Along with green tires etc... Maybe you have a picture of it from BITD? But being there and growing up in cali with pro riders and Living and dying this bike my whole life... I have never seen a green 87. I don't want to depend on the catalog either. But it is not listed in there AT ALL... I hope you can prove me wrong at it would be the only 87 Factory green I have ever seen... Or anyone else for that matter...

I promise you Rividude, someone help me out here, That green boxed one that was on ebay must be kicking about somewhere or someone must have seen it on there a couple of years back.
I cant remember what is in the catologue, I am sure the pink and blue are in there and the white I think but they also did orange, black, chrome and green. I am pretty sure there is a picture of all the seat posts next to each other and the green is in there. I think i tried to match the colour from the catologue.
