1983 Jag 24

Built as a survivor.

I built this up as a rider. This is the only JAG Cruiser in the museum as of 1-11-11. It has a drastic seat tube angle for a Cruiser so it feels bigger. Very light also. Rear dropouts are cool looking called a sticktail. It has a Tange fork, CW Cruiser bars, black Pro Neck II stem, SST Dirt Skirt, AME grips, Aero seat, black fluted seatpost, DB seatclamp, Suntour VX cranks, Suntour 1000 pedals, black Pro Neck 39 tooth chainring, black Dia Comp MX 900 brake with Tech III lever,  black Araya 7x wheels with Sushine loose bearing hubs and Tioga Comp III style tires. The sticker set is original also.

Cool bike , I'm really digging this one.
I have a couple of decals like these and didn't know what Jag they went to. Now I know.

Re: 1983 Jag 24

Great bike.  The jag 24" was one of the first Cruisers I raced back in the early 80's.  The original forks are very hard to come by.

I also have an 1983 jag Cruiser.  Serial number 007.

The sticktail is the same design as the Jag midi while the Team 20" had the looptail.

Congrats on the bike.
