1983 Peugeot CPX-200

All-skool build

I built this bike the way i would back in the day, using what I liked and not what I think everyone else might.  Alright 82 Peugeot frame, GT threadless forks, Redline pro bars, GT power series OPC, Redstone mags. Fit co. Stem, DK headset, Tuffneck chainring, Dominator seat, VP 747 pedals, Tioga frame standers, GT style flip downs, Odyssey flip down seat clamp, AME tri's, DiaComp 980's and levers...

Re: 1983 Peugeot CPX-200

I faved this bike when I first saw it last month. You did a great job on this...that color combo is perfect. I've been wanting to build a Peugeot but haven't had any luck in finding a frame or fork.

Re: 1983 Peugeot CPX-200

Thanks man, I was lucky enough to get the frame from a buddy of mine from LA, the forks are very hard to come by, so I went threadless...

Re: 1983 Peugeot CPX-200

I toned down the green, added more white. In my mind the green looked good, but in real life I liked more white...

Love it!! I think it looks cool both ways you arranged it. This is one of my fave bikes in the whole museum. I just love seeing creative builds like this one.cool

Thanks man I appreciate that. To most people it probably appears thrown together, But this was actually one of the longest and most difficult builds I have done yet...
