1981 Diamondback II

Nice cruising around bike

I put this bike together with odds and ends I had left over from Ebay and local flea market purchases. I wanted to have some daily riders where I could take em to the local track and not worry about getting them dirty. I always loved the Diamond back bikes ..probably my favorite with Redline being second in line. This bike I used a pair of Skyway tuff II's I had from 1986 that are sky blue and bolted most of the blue parts I had sitting around. Bike really moves and it handles really well.

Yeah I was thinking the same at first but I wanted to break up the all blue pattern I was headin into.  I got to put a front brake on it  cos it don't stop very well.  Must be the mags cos the caliper stopped the Redline it was bolted on before.

Thanks Cadillac,  I originally was saving these parts for a Thruster frame I bought to accent the two tone color scheme... but the chrome unfortunately was really just worn out.  So I tried them onto this F&F set and it turned out nice.  Glad I kept these vintage SkyWays  :-)

I am really feeling those bars.  Not literally, but in a "digging 'em" sense.

WOW.. those Mags are GLEAMING!!!

If you ever decide to part out this "odds & ends" bike. I'd love a shot at those mags.
