Re: 1987 Titan Mini 24
I may have to find one of these. Is it all original? Could you buy the whole bike like this, or did Titan just sell frames and forks? Really Awsome.

Re: 1987 Titan Mini 24
Hey everybody, Just found this forum by "accident", and the picture of an '87 24" cruiser really tugged at my heart. In th late '80's I was the track director at Okeeheelee, in W.P.Beach, FL. This was after George Yerkes and before Art Permenter. Just before I took the helm from George, Bob Cashwell would occasionally visit out track. Bob was the team manager for the Titan East Coast BMX team prior to this time. Bob's son, Brad, was one of the team members. We bought Brad's 24" cruiser for our son Joseph. Brad was small for his age and the story goes that Titan "one-offed" a cruiser for him. We have three other 20" Titans and the 24" is about a lb. lighter and I never could figure how they did it. Anyway, Joseph is 27 now and practicing law in Richmond, VA. Brad's cruiser, with "Brad Cashwell" decals on the rear triangle, is still hanging in my downstairs "BMX Museum". Except for a seat and tires it's still ready to ride and looking wicked fast. I know it was when our son raced it. Thanks for the memories. If anyone knows where Bob or Brad are these days, give 'em our best.
No longer in BMX, but still rollin',
