Got it off of Caleb, made a few minor changes
Yup, here it be! Built-up with a *Belizian* 44T CW sprocket and strange aluminum Belizian pegs. My boy Josh picked em up for me, and I put em on. I also went with the Viscount Dominator seat, and lay back seat post. Whatcha think, Caleb?

Hey Fox,
Which of the original parts do you still have? I would love to have the chainring and white pedals to put on my 750. I want to get all the black trim off of mine so I want to swap out the black pedals that are on it for white ones. I may end up getting the pedal cages powder coated when I take my DB in for a coat.

Re: 1986 CW Z 1500
VCT, I have the pedals on another bike, and don't wanna get rid of em. The Sprocket? Caleb still has it, I didn't care for it. Now then, I *do* have the back bone pad, handle bar pad, and the neck (stem) pads. all in great shape. I don't like pads on my bikes, so maybe a trade or $? Lemme know:

Re: 1986 CW Z 1500
That's cool man. I'll just end up getting the cages on my pedals powdered white. I got white Tuffs for it and I'm looking for pink tires. I found some on ebay but I'm not sure if the shade of pink will look right. I got my CW new in the box so I have the pads. I'm with you dude, I hate pads on my bikes so I put mine in a bag just in case I sell the bike. Back in the day when we bought bikes the pads went straight into a box in the garage somewhere (thats if they didnt end up in the trash). Now some of those pads would be worth some loot.

Here ya go ![]()

I'm also putting this pic on the bike's listing.
Oh yeah, other things I'm gonna let go, the CW seat post, and the CW seat. Want em? The ones here are an Odyssey lay back post, and a Viscount Dominator seat. The original seat and post are NOS.

There is the way my bike looked when it came out of the box. I also included pics with and without the pads. I also replaced the post with a chrome layback. I also have a set of chrome CW Pro bars that I was gonna put on but the pink bars that came stock have grown on me. What do you think Fox?
I'll get some new pics up when I have a finished version.
PS - I do like the stock seat. How much would you want for yours? Or maybe I have something you might be looking for although I have really gotten rid of most of my misc parts in the past few months.

Well, I dig the pads. I think it helps set off the graphics on the downtube. I also like the qwhite wheels too! Nice bikes! I've seen a few crop up lately but way too rich for my blood.

Re: 1986 CW Z 1500
when i got this bike it was brand new in the box.... here is when i had it http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/cw/497 ... it came with cheap brakes seat clamp and grips.. i changed them and that bike was real sweet.. to bad i had to get rid of it... i have had to sell several bikes and i may even have to sell more because i cant keep all of these.... FOX the sprocket is slick but you should have kept the original seat and post on it...

That was the bike that was forever the " Hot Deal" in all the mail order ads in BMX Plus! Back in the day...Nice.

Re: 1986 CW Z 1500
Hey sweet bike. I just got one today just like yours but it is missing the neck and handle bar pad and other little stuff. The guy that owned the store had it stashed in back because he hated the color. I was doing some work for him and saw it. I got the frame , forks ,and handle bars. Hopefully when I get it done it will look as sweet as yours. Let me know on the pads or any other parts for the bike. Anyways Thank You for your time.....gonna go looking for more parts.![]()
