1985 Dyno Compe

1985 Dyno Compe

F&F was build December of 1985

My Latest build.... This survivor F&F set was built up as a low cost rider. Most of the components are survivor condition parts with the exception of the tires, grips, brake cables, seat and chain ring. I always thought the quality of the materials and welds on these early Dyno's look just as good as the GT performers. I'm assuming the "lower end" status was due to the components that were on these bikes when they were sold as completes. This made me want to customize a Dyno Compe II, just like I did with all my bikes back in the day. The geometry feels very similar to my 84 Master. It's full 4130 Chromoly and It feels a bit lighter than my Haro. Hope you enjoy!

Frame & Fork ~ 85 DYNO COMPE (all original) Rims ~ ACS Z-Rims (Mike Buff signature) Front Hub ~ ACS Low Flange Rear Hub ~ Bendix Coaster Tires ~ Odyssey Frequency G (20X1.85) Cranks ~ Tioga Task Force Sprocket/Spider ~ Porkchop/Tioga CD Pedals ~ Shimano DX type Bottom Bracket ~ Tioga Beartrap 24TPI Brakes ~ Dia Compe Nippon, Tech 4 Levers Seat ~ New Dominator (Porkchop) Seat Post ~ GT Layback Seat Post Clamp ~ GT Bars ~ GT Performer Stem ~ ACS 55 Slant (Diamond Back version) Rotor ~ ACS Headset ~ Tioga MX-2 Grips ~ Ame Tri's

Very Nice!

Love it. Clean as hell. I am working on a raw compe frame with new and mid school parts.
