2007 GT Performer

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RETRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2007 RETRO GT PERFORMER.... As GT never followed Haro in making a retro i knew i had to make one when i saw the 07 frame with the bend in the down tube.. first off  i removed the cable guides to give it a clean 80s look and had it powderd in a pearl oyster type white.. building it was easy as i wanted to build it along the lines of eddies bike back in 85 at del mar.. so i guess if eddie was still riding for GT this would be it lol!!!!! beeing a new school bike i also wanted to be able to change it over to a more modern new school look without to much hassle smile

Awesome job, I LOVE retros. I think the WORSE thing GT did to the Performer/Pro Performer/Freestyle Tour freestyle bikes... is get rid of the bent bottom tube design.

That is GT's TRADEMARK, in the freestyle bmx design world... every GT Performer/Pro Performer after that without that bent bottom tube sucked to me. That 80's design sparked ALOTTA imitators.

Great job... I hope GT knows WHY they aren't as big and as popular, as they once were. Too many awful designers throughout the 90's and 2000s.

Although, the 100% chromoly '98 Pro Performer is a NICE bike. That would look good as a retro Pro World Tour. cool

I never get tired of looking at this bike.  Awesome look and solid choice of parts.  I definitely need to find one of these frames!
