2001 Fishbone Kong-FU
2001 Fishbone Kong-FU
My latest build finally almost near complete just waiting on my upper cable for it! I believe it is a 01' Fishbone Kong-FU w/Fishbone 48 spoke X-Rims w/the Fishbone FU hubs.
My latest build, finally almost nearly 100% complete just waiting on my upper cable for it! I believe it is a 01' NOS Fishbone Kong-FU w/minty Fishbone 48 spoke X-Rims w/the Fishbone FU hubs, Fishbone Straight Up stem & Fishbone Raw bars. Only part that isn't Fishbone besides the obvious is the 34T GT Show sprocket. I think it turned out just as I had planned so let me know what my fellow bmx museum members think? I would appreciate your input on how it turned out! I ordered a new lime green seat for this as well but got to wait for it to arrive.
Looking for an ACS 55 slant stem if anyone has one & possibly a set of Kore Candy bars?

Re: 2001 Fishbone Kong-FU
WOW! I remember this bike, I'm not sure if it is a '98 or '99 but I remember the straight up stem very well and being a flatlander myself I always thought that design would take off and other companies would copy it but it never happened. Well done brother.

Re: 2001 Fishbone Kong-FU
If ever there was a wierd ass bike that desevered peoples undivded attention, brother, I think you built it! That is the coolest, not of the norm bike I have ever seen. Your builds have redefined the conventional bike in the museum. Still don't understand why you call yourself carguy, building bikes like that....lol Bravo sir....Bravo;)![]()

Re: 2001 Fishbone Kong-FU
awesome, I have one of those very frames, as of yet unbuilt, got in spain a few moths ago, at some collectors' I met over there, guy had tons of stuff and this was the only frame he would sell!it is light as a feather, aluminum probably less than 5 pounds, I had never seen the stem though, killer, and the forks look nice, are they AL or CRMO?
