lovely ripper ... i hope you are lighter than 99% of the people who owned these or you're keeping it as a show bike .... a loopy pk with a lay back seat post it not a good idea ! especially after all the work you have put in .

Re: 1982 SE Racing P.K. Ripper
Ozz, I am about 175 (at least that is what I convinced myself :-)
It is more show than go. I built it so I could tool around with my boyz around the neighborhood. I had a straight post, but the knees were just too tight. So far so good with the clamp area. At 40 years old, I will be lucky to get a couple feet off the ground.
But... back in the day!
P.S. Had a Redline in the early 80s, but the Ripper was the dream bike.

That is righteous!! I'd go with black tires to give a little distinction between the mags & tires, plus a little dirt looks fine on black tires IMO. And the Z-28 is sweet as well!

Re: 1982 SE Racing P.K. Ripper
I disagree with the black tire comments... Keep it as is for sure. The orange and white makes a "dream cycle" look like a "dreamsicle". Yum!
