1984 Diamondback Viper

I have a 1984 Diamond Back Viper (3rd Generation). It was a 9th Birthday present from my parents. It still has every original part including the pad-sets. It looks great for a 26 year old bike!

Handlebars: Diamond Back chrome plated, Steel (Akisu)
Stem: Diamond Back, alloy Chromoly shaft (Sugino)

Rims: Steel 7x type 20x1.75 (CMC)
Spokes: tbc
Hubs: Steel, Chrome plated (KT)
Tyres: Comp 3 type skinwall , 2.125 front, 1.75 rear (Cheng Shin)
Brakes: 890 front and rear, Black (Dia-Compe)
Levers: Tech III, Black (Dia-Compe)
Cable: Black (Dia-Compe)
Pedals: MX, Chromoly axle (HTI)
Crank: Forged steel one-piece, 175mm
Bottom Bracket: 24tpi (Tange type)
Chainring: 44T (Lunghi)

awesome,i love the vipers,i know they are an entry level db but nearly 27 years on it still wrangles me that my parents wouldnt buy me one for christmas 83,i had to make do with a crap viceroy bmx instead

my friend had that exact same bike when we were growing up . So many memories. It was the bike that got me into BMX and opened the doors to name brand bikes,
