1982 SE Racing Mini Ripper

My SE mini ripper. Hanging arround in my office, giving me some insperations from the goooood old 80ies. Restored by myself. originally it was candy red. I bought it in a terrible condition.

Frame Nr. MR 42327 manufactured ???
Landin Gear light fork
Odyssey cnc made crankset (sealed bearings), DK mini stem, etc. Im very sorry for the sun 1 3/8 wheels. I´m looking for some older and nicer.

Re: 1982 SE Racing Mini Ripper

loop tail ripper would be between '80 and '84.  not sure when the mini ripper was introduced during that time frame but there you go.  the intigrated seat clamp was introduced in '85 along with the different rear end.

that is a sweet looking mini.  very well done!

mini's were 20", but now days you have micro mini which is 18" and mini cruisers that are 24" and still the standard 20" mini.

Re: 1982 SE Racing Mini Ripper

Great job on the restoration! Nice color coordination. Like you already said, add some vintage wheels and you will have that thing dialed.
