1979 Powerlite

Cook Bros B/B, Torker stem and forks...

Still has clay on the tires... hung in the garage for nearly three decades

Any Idea where this bike was sold from. This looks like my old bike when I was a kid. I am from Indiana. My father traded it to a guy for a mini bike.So he told me. Looks the same down to the crappy blue paint job. Had a pair of plastic rims also with it.

Bike was purchased for a Bike shop in Ebensburgh PA years ago (used)... The paint on the bike was actually factory and in good shape... It is gone now(parted out)... only thing left is the seat and its post...

Re: 1979 Powerlite

Thanks for posting this great Powerlite, it really inspired me to build my own!!!

Does it have the square brake bridge or more of a butterfly brake bridge?  Is the seat post the standard 7/8 or the smaller 13/16?
