1978 Kent Spoiler

I couldn't find the serial number on this poor survivor - pretty sure it's old since it was my MOM'S when she was much younger - now, she rides a 26" custom BMX cruiser.

The original fork was messed up so I found another Kent donor with a similar fork pattern (they actually look like Redlines - haha) and the fork was for 20" tires. This lifted the front end a little bit giving the seat a swayback look without the swayback seatpost.
White 80's Haro kneesavers and white CNC goosneneck complete the white motif for the bike.
All the labels clearly say "Kent BMX" with glittery light purple and shiny silvery mirrorized accents appropriate for late 70's decals.  The decals are original; my dad managed to put tape over them to save them from aging in the garage.  No visible serial numbers could be found anywhere.  I couldn't even find any serial numbers at all, not even scratched off ones - my pop said the serial number was probably a decal in those days.  I did find a light discolorized decal mark where the serial number is supposed to be on the bottom of the seat tube.
Back to the bike parts....The extra long HK seat post is topped off by a black 70's Troxel seat and Troxel seat cover.
The purple rims and 16" tires were donated by a purple Mongoose that had seen better days.  These match the decals so what are you gonna do?  It makes the color scheme all come together - white, purple and pink.  It looks nice, don't it?  I wanted to keep the era decals.  The front tube KENT decal is like a disco decal with the shiny glittery 3D effects.
Chainwheel and chain are original to the bike.
Rides like a dream...if you don't mind the white and purple girlie bike colors ^_^ which I do not mind!  The white Haro kneesavers make this bike a legit pit racer.  Actually, the whole bike is very light considering it's age.  It still rides nice after all these years.
