1987 Rally Gamma 92ii

Actually, this is a "Rallye" with an "e" not "Rally".  I haven't found anything like this one - this came from my dad's collection.  I just threw a new set of tires on 'em.

My dad thought it looked cool because at the time when these came out, everybody wanted a Redline so Rallye said "here's a Rallye that looks like a Redline!". 
It even copied the Redline red-fade-into-black paint job!  The decals on this bike are all original - NO repops here.
My dad took the tires off and hung this on the garage wall as a novelty.  He knew it couldn't take any jumping punishment.  Very light frame for its time!  It originally had white wall tires which he took off to put on a banana-seat Schwinn.  The Gamma had a white vinyl Troxel seat which has now been replaced by a aero style velo seat.
The white-walls looked funny on the Gamma so it now has black knobby front and rear tires.  The 6 leg star chainring , 1- piece crank and white rubber pedals are original to this Redline look alike.  The frame is identical to a Huffy Sigma.  Apparently, the use of Greek letters for model names of bikes was popular in the late 80's...
