2001 GT Pro Series XL Plus

I know most people say the Newer GTs suck. But having owned this one and ridden it for a while I must disagree. I think my 93 pro series is faster, but this one is solid and smooth. Only upgrades I made were jive grips, odyssey triple traps, crupi chain wheel and snafu seat, and recently Tioga Compe X tires.

Re: 2001 GT Pro Series

I say the newer GTs suck, but I really like this bike.  I almost bought one.  Wish I had.

Re: 2001 GT Pro Series

i hear new gt's aren't what they used to be also but i was looking at one just yesterday at shop and didnt see anything to make me think it wasnt a good bike. they may not have as high end of parts as they used to but it still seemed like a solid bike with pretty good welds. they sure havent declined the way mongoose has in my opinion
