Re: 1992 Haro Ground Master
thanks man! 91/92 decals are impossible to find. Ive contacted all the people that reproduce Haro decals and none have any, not even Haro.
I got a very clean set of 92 decals from a member here "getmoney" he was kind enough to carefully remove his good ones from his 92 as he wanted to have his bike dressed in 88 decals. Ive sent them to a dude who is busy recreating them but its not easy to do with the worn cogs and effects in the images. Its not just a matter of scan and reprint, he needs to recreate from scratch. But they will eventually be done. I know there was a guy in Australia who is recreating 91 Air Master decals. Go through the comments under the 91 air masters on here if you want to find out who it is. 91 ground master decals are still eluding us all! When my 92's are done I could hook you up with a set of those if you want.

Re: 1992 Haro Ground Master
Damn another great ride. Just my opionon but I love the decals on it and the orange cables go great with the decal set. If it were mine I would lose the blue components and change that chainwheel out with the older Haro disc with black chainwheel. But none the less it looks great. You lucky dog!

yeah, teamharo here is doing the Air Master sticker set...he's done 89/90 Master and 90 Sport. they look great. he hooked me up with scan for my 94 Master, but like you said it's not as simple as using them. the artwork has to be re-done really. if you're talented with Illustrator, etc you can do it or pay someone. my 94 still aren't done because it is a lot of work.
Looking for:
Green survivor 86 Haro Master frame/fork.
89/90 Haro Master parts - all of them, big and small.

Re: 1992 Haro Ground Master
lower the seat and move the bars back and you have one sweeeet ride here. I'm jealous.
Why does everyone jack up the seat and move the bars forward? Not cool.

Make sure to hold on to that 1991 ground master. Even though it's not as OS as say an 86' 86 Masters are a dime a dozen, but 92's are pretty rare.

Thanks, Ive removed the new flights and put on profile box cranks since the pictures were taken. I prefer them.
Why move the bars and lower the seat? The bars are back from straight up, and the seat is inline with the bar height for the basic flatland I can do. This top tube is only 19" so its not really possible to move them back any more without being really uncomfortable to ride.

Really nice build, congratulations on a sterling effort. ![]()
I have a 91 sitting in raw cromo at the moment, the build is due to resume early next year after I finish perfecting the frame for chrome. Extremely interested in a decal set when you get them; I scoured the earth for a set just like you did, also to no avail. Please hit me up when you take delivery, these things are becoming like hens' teeth now, so they deserve to have the correct decals!
Cheers mate,
Nick

Re: 1992 Haro Ground Master
Just a heads up to the guys into the 91 and 92 ground masters. I've finally finished reproducing the decal set for the 92 from the set that I had removed from my own bike, and I would say they are pretty close to spot on.
I have also done the 91 master decals using the 92 artwork and recreating the downtube decal as best I could by looking at the photographs here on the museum. It's as close as I am going to get it as I've invested so many hours into this project already.
I have had a couple of sets test printed on a state-of-the-art flatbed digital printer using UV ink in a 4-stage process. The color is printed over white ink on clear film and look absolutely amazing. The only difference to a set printed by screen is the artwork is slightly raised and there is no metallic flake in the blue and gold 'cogs' that form the background because, unfortunately, digital printing still has limitations.
At this stage, I'd like to see what kind of interest there is for these decals as it's pricey to print just a couple at a time. Cheaper for me means cheaper for you. My own bikes are already sorted. I just think it's a shame most of us have to resort to retro-ing our rides because there's nothing else out there.
Anyone keen?

A picture tells a thousand words..
These are both on clear but different types of film as we were experimenting with film qualities.

I can understand that kind of frustration. This has been very painstaking to do, but the hard work is now done and it's all down to making it more cost effective for the dedicated few.
