1984 Diamondback Pacer 500
1984 Diamondback Pacer 500
1984 Pacer 500 restored to my 6 year old son's specs. Viper bars and decal set. Tuffwheel IIs.
Found a 1984 Diamondback frame/fork on Ebay for $25.00 "Buy It Now". Included front/rear Dia-compe brakes, ACS stem/rotor, cranks and chainring. Frame/fork was spraypainted light blue. Brakes and stem were old, chipped white paint. Stripped and powdercoated frame/fork. Stripped, sanded, and polished the stem and brakes. Decals came from 302zapper from Ebay. My 6 year old son loves it.

Never saw a DB in that color combo, looks great.
Both your bikes look great and your son has good taste.
For a bike with built in chain guard tab it looks race ready.

Re: 1984 Diamondback Pacer 500
It's a nice colour scheme black/white, one that DiamonadBack only did for the Pacer 500 replacement, the Super Viper.
Good to see some custom coloured versions. ![]()
