1987 Haro Master
1987 Haro Master
Rebuilt very close to the my favorite setup from 1988.
I originally bought the f/f in 1988, as a year-end closeout from Albe's. Then, I had it setup primarily for flatland and street riding. Put it away after my second year of college in 1992. Parts were lost/broken over time, but pulled it back out around 1995, and replaced what needed to be fixed. Got it out this year and rebuilt with mostly period-correct parts. The most modern parts are the wheels, which are Weinmann ZAC 48s. Not my first choice, but I have Peregrine Super Pros for it with a bad freecoaster. Also, the Odyssey Excaliber cranks are probably more mid-school as well. All-in-all, a great rider/survivor that helped me get back into the BMX culture.
