1979 Schwinn Mag Scrambler
gift from friends
Some of my friends at a local bike shop gave me this bike..Looks all orig. and has tuff 1s in great cond...the tires still have the lil rubber hairs on them...and best of all it still rides like new..

Wow,one of my friends had the negative color scheme to that one bitd.It was red with black mags and seat.This was in '79.

this was my first real bike. my incredible parents got for me on my 11th birthday, 1979! i had drooled over it for months, and was so surprised and happy to get it. big soft spot for black phantoms. stolen, and replaced with a murray or huffy im sure.
i didn't know anything about bmx, but i wanted that schwinn with "mag wheels". i remember that red seat and box bars. damn i was the coolest kid in my hood on that bike.
