1986 Schwinn Freeform Predator Z

Almost complete original classic Predator. Very cool find.

Original wheels, hubs, cranks, pedals, seat clamp, fluted seat post, seat, stem, bars, chain. Decent set of era correct Comp III's. The bike has been completelely gone through, I have repacked all the bearings and cleaned everything. It is ready to restore or ride for the joy of it. The previous owners of this bike LOVED IT! By that I mean they rode the S#&T out of it. It is well used and has the scars to prove it. There are, however, no cracks or evidence of rewelds of any kind and the rims spin tru. The bars are straight. The numbers stamped on the the right rear drop out indicate the bike was built 08/85. I was planning on keeping this bike but lack of room dictates it is ready to go.
I've had a gang of bikes and it's remarkable how comfortable this one is to ride. It is extremely neutral, light, and fast. If you are interested in the bike email me directly at : dueyd@sbcglobal.net

Thanks, it really brings back memories. I had a kent in 1980 and then...my first "real" bike from 1982 was a schwinn...then I went to powerlite. As far as a price I have been making use of the site for values...still chewing on it. If you would like to throw a number at me that would be fine.

bars are not original, they came with the standard predator 8in rise bars. due to the rotor the bars sat lower.

super dope and one of the more desired predators.
