This bike is one of my favourites on the whole site. You are one lucky bloke, I would give my shed  for just one ride on that aged chunk of style.

Re: 1974 Puch Challenger MX

This was my first bike in 1977, I have the original frame, (broke it and my father re-welded it and welded a gusset between t/t and d/t. also have original cranks,pedals,sprocket,b/b, rims and chain. looking to restore it. Does anyone have info on hubs? and spoke length? maybe shimano or, suntour, bendix coaster brake? any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Pugga

Re: 1974 Puch Challenger MX

Love the bike... was lucky enough to find one myself in good enough condition that it just needed a good hard cleanup but alot of the original paint is still there but is flaking.  might re-do the bars tho, they are down to 5% black paint.  Either way, gorgeous old bike i agree.

All the best!
