1976 Schwinn Competition Scrambler
I bought this bike off of eBay about 3 years ago.  Slowly, I collected all of the correct parts to bring it back to showroom stock.
Parts:
NOS-
·         Schwinn racing seat
·         Ashtabula stem
·         Chainguard
·         Hunt Wilde grips
·         Decals
Frame- Chromolybendum
Fork- Ashtabula 24” blade
Handlebars- Schwinn Box
Wheels- S-2 rims with .105 gauge spokes, Bendix 76 brake
Tires- 2 x 2.125 Knobbies
Seatpost- Original chrome 26.8mm
Seatpost Clamp- Original
Cranks- 7 ½” Ashtabula stamped racing cranks (factory on the Competition Scrambler, where the regular Scrambler had 6 ½” cranks)
Pedals- 1976 Schwinn

Wanted- White Industries Freewhee 19T and 20T, Mongoose Stainless Steel bars for a Moosegoose, and Big Gulp bars- because I think they look goofy enough to cruise with!

Turned out great!
My first BMX bike was a Scrambler 36/36.  Need to get one someday.
