I never have been able to relate to the "yellow" combination they did with these...In the process of finding white chain ,These bikes are very 80's rad...Very common for these to have the crack on both sides of gusset...More pic's soon.

Wow, so much better with out the yellow. I had a blue BITD.It cracked and I got a complete replacement under warranty. The replacement had the newer one piece gusset. Sold it a long time ago when I got my new '87 PFTT. Now I have another shock in pink with the cracked gusset. Is yours intact?
Cool, a new bike. Wait a minute.......where am I going to hide this one. She's going to catch me for sure!!!
