Mine  was the same, except it was an 82'... and if I found another one in minty condition, I'd probably buy it... Sadly these are hard to come buy because most of them led a very hard life and didn't survive. I know that mine was stripped (I replaced every part on it with higher-end stuff except the frame. I eventually got a nice racing frame) and given away.

When did the Pro thunder frames change from the gusset with a cut out to a solid gusset with a sticker? or vice-versa? Mine had a solid gusset and I believe the sticker said "Track Certified" or something.

What year did they start making the Pro Thunders? I was thinking I got mine in about 78 or so. But, my memory is fuzzy. I eventually changed everything out except the frame as well, with better stuff. I had a metalic blue frame (cut out gusset) with all blue parts, blue oakleys and Elina seat, and ano blue hard parts... blue snake bellys. It was very .... blue. LOL

Nah, it was a pro thunder. I actually may have gotten it for Christmas in 79. It had the cut out gusset, and the font was the usual pro thunder, in orange, on a blue frame.
